This Privacy Policy describes how the Tap2Quote mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", "our") handles information when you use it.

Tap2Quote is built for painters and decorators to create, manage and share painting quotes from a mobile device.

1. Information We Collect

We do not sell your data, and the business and customer details you enter stay on your device. The only information that leaves your device is what is needed to run your subscription (see section 5).

All information you enter into the App — including your business details, customer details, photos, quotes, paint colours, materials and pricing — is stored locally on your device only, using your device's secure on-device storage (AsyncStorage on Android and iOS).

We do not operate any servers that receive, log or store your data.

2. Photos and Camera

The App requests permission to access your camera and photo library only when you choose to:

Take a photo of a room, surface or job site
Attach existing photos to a quote
Upload your business logo
Add photos of your finished work to send to customers or add to quotes

Photos selected or captured this way are stored only on your device, attached to the relevant quote. They are never uploaded to any server controlled by us.

3. Sharing Quotes

When you choose to share a quote (for example, by email or by exporting a PDF), the App passes the file to your device's built-in email or sharing system. You control where the file is sent. We do not see, store or process the contents of any quote you share.

4. Internet Access

The App requests Internet permission only to:

Check your subscription with RevenueCat (see section 5)
Allow your device's email client to send a quote you have explicitly chosen to share

The App does not transmit any of your business or customer data over the internet to us.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Tap2Quote Pro is a monthly subscription with a free trial, sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Payments are handled by Apple or Google. We never see or store your card or bank details.
We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID, your device platform, and your purchase history for Tap2Quote (product, price, dates, trial and renewal status). It does not receive your business details, customers, quotes or photos.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

6. Third-Party Services

The App does not contain advertising. Apart from subscription checks described above, it does not use third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or behavioural tracking of any kind. Paint and materials prices in the App are built in; the App does not send your quotes to any supplier.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by professional tradespeople. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all data is stored on your device, you can delete it at any time by:

Deleting individual quotes within the App
Clearing the App's data in your device settings
Uninstalling the App, which removes all locally-stored data

9. Your Rights

Your business and customer data lives entirely on your device, under your control. For subscription records held by RevenueCat, Apple or Google, you can ask us to help you access or delete them by contacting us (section 11).

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
